Kadak Taazgi is our finer-grade CTC tea, sometimes called dust grade – smaller particles than our leaf teas, which means it brews faster and hits stronger. If you’re the kind of person who wants their chai dark and ready in under a minute, this is built for exactly that. It still comes from single-origin Assam, still gets tasted and graded before packing, and it holds up well against milk without losing strength.

Dust-grade tea has a tendency to have a bad reputation, mainly due to the fact that low-grade dust tea is indeed inferior. That’s not what’s happening here. Our team grades Kadak Taazgi with the same care as anything else we sell, just with a different target – strength and speed, not delicacy. Every batch gets tasted before it’s approved, so the strong cup you’re expecting is actually what you get.
