That kind of read takes years to build – some of our team have over a decade in it, and can spot a mediocre batch before it’s even finished brewing.
Here’s what that looks like in practice: leaves arrive from the estate and get checked by hand for size, moisture, body. Flavored blends are adjusted by taste, not just formula. And before anything is packed, someone tastes it one last time – a shift invisible on paper is obvious the moment it hits a cup.
Most batches don’t make it. Not because they’re bad tea – just not Bhalo Cha tea. That means turning down volume we could easily ship.
